Climbing Adventure at the Olcha Plateau
On the way to Lake Baikal from Irkutsk there is a excellent climbing area. The rocks looking a little bit like the rocks in the Saxon Switzerland area in Germay but of course it's a bit smaller here.
The tour starts from the railway station in Irkutsk with the Elektrichka bound for Sludjanka. We will get of in the little village of Orlenok. From here we have to walk through nice forest to the three rocks "The Old", "The Knight" and "The Idol". There are lots of different routes up to the top of the rocks depending on you experience.
In the evening we will go back by the Elektrichka local train to Irkutsk or if you want we can stay there overnight in tents.
